## Examination 2015: Countdown begins…..IV

The examination season has begun. The first crucial stage of C.B.S.E examination i.e.the practicals must be over by now. I hope you would have done well in the same.

Now is the right time to focus on the preparation for the theory examination.

I would suggest a two-pronged strategy, chapter-wise preparation & revision through CBSE paper.

Revise each unit carefully followed by written practice of the concepts and previous year CBSE problems.

For your benefit, I am posting some important revision problems in Unit I : Electrostatics as under.

Revision Problems in Electrostatics.

Problems from other units will be posted subsequently.

Along with unit-wise revision, it is advisable to go through one paper a day. You will find quite a few solved papers in this blog. I would suggest you to start with 5 marks questions first as these questions are generally direct and often repeated. **Go through the questions very carefully and try to analyse the language of the same. A question is well-read if you clearly understand as to what has been asked & more importantly what has not been asked.**

Beginning now in right earnest and continuous effort will help you perform well in the board exams.

Electric potential due to a a dipole and system of charges; equipotential surfaces.

Electric potential energy of a dipole in an electrostatic field.

Combination of capacitors in series and in parallel, Capacitance of a parallel plate capacitor with and without dielectric medium between the plates,

Energy stored in a capacitor.
