**Launching a Friendly Physics Website for Teachers & students**

**Dear Teachers/students,**

**With the number of posts in the blog growing, the search for relevant content became difficult. In order to make the content well arranged & user friendly, we are launching a website:**

**It classifies as well as clubs the posts pertaining to a particular unit in a single site. **

**This will facilitate learning & make it enjoyable.**

**Some special features of the site are:**

**Well defined menu****Classification of content (Unitwise)****Different sections like Videos, notes, assignments etc.****Solved CBSE Physics papers****Sample papers for practice****MCQs for Conceptual Clarity****Tips & Tricks for Low & High achievers****A special section on TECHNOLOGY AIDED TEACHING (TAT) to empower the teachers in classroom interactions**

**Happy Teaching/Learning!**

## All About DUAL NATURE OF MATTER & RADIATIONS…….

Dear friends,

With the number of posts in the blog growing, I revisited the posts and decided to classify & club the posts pertaining to a unit in a single post. This will facilitate learning & make it enjoyable. The first post clubbed the information about the unit on Electrostatics followed by a few other units: Current Electricity; E M Waves & Wave Optics.

In continuation thereof; here is All About DUAL NATURE OF MATTER & RADIATIONS for you…..

**PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROVIDE ANY USEFUL CRITICAL INPUT ABOUT THE POSTS/BLOG.**

**All About DUAL NATURE OF MATTER & RADIATIONS**

***Minimum Level of learning in DUAL NATURE OF MATTER & RADIATIONS**

As this is a very small & easy to understand unit in CBSE Class XII Physics, it is advisable to prepare it thoroughly. In general the questions asked are also direct. So with a little effort; all the four marks may be up for grab.

## Videos: EM Waves-II

The present video titled EM Waves-II is in continuation of the series aimed at explaining how Maxwell’s equations led him to prediction of existence of E M Waves. The expressions for wave velocity further justify the correlation of the waves with electric and magnetic fields. The mathematical representation of the waves & their diagrammatic representation showing Transverse character also forms the part of the video.

The production and detection of the waves will be discussed in the next video…
